There’s not much you need to do beforehand - just keep the area out of the sun and fake tan before your appointment.
If you want to take the edge off, you can apply numbing cream 2 hours before you appointment - we have it available to purchase in studio.
No need to shave your brows. Seriously. lol. If there’s a lot of dark hair over the treatment area though, give it a quick shave beforehand.
Easy. No overthinking required.
-
Here’s where the magic happens. The laser targets the tattoo pigment and breaks it into tiny particles, then your body gets to work clearing them away naturally over the weeks that follow.
We do the zapping — your body does the fading.
-
Your skin does the hard work between sessions, so good aftercare matters. We’ll check how you’ve healed, make sure everything’s tracking nicely, then go again when your skin is ready.
Zap. Heal. Fade. Repeat.
The process
FAQS
-
Every tattoo is different, so there’s no magic number. The size, colour, age, depth and type of ink used all play a part in how many sessions you’ll need.
Tattoo removal is a gradual process, with plenty of healing time between sessions. We’ll treat your tattoo safely, track how it responds and adjust as we go—because healthy skin always comes first.
-
We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks between sessions — and sometimes longer depending on how your skin is healing and how the tattoo is responding.
The laser breaks the ink up, but your body does the actual clearing, so giving it time between appointments is a big part of getting a good result.
More laser isn’t always better. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let your body cook.

We won’t lie — it’s a bit spicy. Most people describe it as a hot, snappy sensation, but the good news is it’s usually over pretty quickly.
If you want to take the edge off, you can apply numbing cream around 2 hours beforehand — available to purchase in studio — and we also use cooling during treatment to keep things as comfortable as possible.
Afterwards, the area can feel a little hot, red or sunburnt, but this usually settles pretty quickly.
A little spicy, very quick.
-
Before: Keep the area out of the sun and free from fake tan. If there’s a lot of dark hair over the tattoo, give it a quick shave beforehand — brows stay put, lol. If you want to take the edge off, numbing cream can be applied around 2 hours before treatment and is available in studio.
First 24 hours: Keep things cool and clean. Avoid heavy exercise, swimming, saunas, steam rooms and anything that gets the area hot or sweaty.
While it heals: Use the aftercare we recommend, don’t pick or pop any blisters or scabs, and keep it protected from the sun.
Basically: keep it clean, keep it cool, and let your skin do its thing.
-
The laser sends super-short pulses of energy into the tattoo pigment, breaking the ink into tiny particles.
From there, your body takes over, gradually clearing those particles away over the weeks that follow.
That’s why tattoos fade bit by bit — not all at once.
Think less “eraser”, more “break it down and let your body do its thing.”
-
Tattoo removal is a process — not a one-and-done.
How many sessions you’ll need depends on things like the ink colour, depth, age of the tattoo, placement and how your body responds.
Some tattoos clear beautifully, some leave a little shadowing behind, and some are better suited to fading for a cover-up rather than chasing complete removal.
You’ll usually notice gradual fading over time, with your body continuing to clear ink between sessions.
No false promises, no magic numbers — just realistic advice and a plan that suits your tattoo.

We use the COSJET Hero Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser, designed specifically for tattoo removal and pigment treatments.
Its stable, even beam profile allows energy to be delivered consistently across the treatment area, helping us target tattoo pigment effectively while working safely with the skin.
Good technology matters — and so does knowing how to use it properly.
-
Absolutely. We can treat multiple tattoos in the same session, depending on their size, placement and how much skin we’re treating at once.
Send us photos of everything you’d like removed or faded through the enquiry form and we’ll work out the best plan, including session time and cost.
More than one regret? We’ve got you.

SKIN NEEDLING
$260
Tiny needles, Very big plans.
Skin needling gets your skin working harder for you — helping smooth texture, soften fine lines, improve scarring and give tired, dull skin a fresher, firmer look.

DERMAFIX ENZYME FACIAL
$300
This is our slowest, most relaxing facial - but don’t mistake relaxing for doing nothing.
As the enzyme sets and firms over your skin, you get to completely switch off while the treatment gets to work —supporting the skin, working with the facial muscles and encouraging lymphatic drainage to help move excess fluid, de-puff and support healthy circulation.
Unlike our other more active facials, there’s no heat, no needles and a whole lot of relaxation.
Just a long, lush facial with plenty of massage and some very satisfying results.
Less puff. More lift. Deep exhale.
